Take in the Beauty from the Cherry Blossom Festival
First and foremost, this year’s CMS conference is taking place during one of the most beautiful times of the year in DC: The Cherry Blossom Festival. This gorgeous celebration will take place from March 20 – April 17 of this year with over 3,000 trees expected to be in bloom. It’s sure to make any adventure in DC more memorable!

See the historic 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in person! Currently, tours can only be booked by sending a request to your Member of Congress in either the House or the Senate, but you can see the front of the house in all of its glory.

Take a free walking tour through Capitol Hill
Explore the 532 miles of shelves in the Library of Congress – and check out the amazing architecture as well! And while in the area, you can see the Capitol Building and the Supreme Court Building!

In order to get into DC from the Hyatt Regency Reston, guests can take the METRO Silver Line to and from DC!  Located 1.6 miles from the hotel, the station offers convenient parking (free on weekends/holidays). Guests needing transportation to the Metro Station may take the Fairfax Connector Bus #505 which picks up and drops off behind the hotel for $1.75.
